He is an accomplished professional in the field of Entrepreneurship, holding a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Sri Lanka, and is currently pursuing his PhD in Business Administration to deepen his expertise and academic insight.
With over a decade of proven experience, he has built a successful career specializing in strategic planning, human resource management, sales and marketing, and operational management. As the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Ceylon IQ Global (Pvt) Ltd, he leads with a focus on innovation, team spirit, and talent development — consistently guiding organizations toward growth and sustainability.
His leadership philosophy is rooted in overcoming challenges with unity and creating opportunities for others to lead. Beyond business, he is deeply committed to environmental protection and sustainable development goals, aligning both his professional ventures and personal values with global sustainability efforts.
Mr Sugath has a rich history of community service and youth leadership. He has served as a President of an International Rotary Interact Club, member of Rotaract Clubs, and held key positions within Lions Clubs International – District 306 B2, including Cabinet Officer and District Chairperson.
In recognition of his dedication, he has been appointed as the Honorary Consulate General for Sustainable Diplomacy (SL22-1) and a Goodwill Ambassador for Sustainable Development, continuously working to make a positive, lasting impact on the world.
Dr. Jude is a seasoned leader with over 25 years of experience in the banking and financial industry, both in Sri Lanka and internationally. He currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer of Ceylon IQ Global (Pvt) Ltd, where he plays a pivotal role in driving operational excellence, financial strategy, and innovation across diverse sectors including finance, food, and information technology.
An alumnus of a leading academic institution, Dr. Jude holds a PhD from Kingston University – London and has contributed extensively to both industry and academia. He combines his deep-rooted financial expertise with strong leadership in project management, business development, and external funding acquisition — including collaboration in EU-funded programs like Pluto Europe.
He is also known for his strategic work in innovation ecosystems, guiding startups and businesses in building partnerships, accessing research-driven solutions, and aligning with global sustainability goals. His strong knowledge of service design, design thinking, and innovation development methods has enabled him to build bridges between academia, industry, and society.
Deeply committed to sustainable business practices, Dr. Jude continues to be a passionate advocate for ethical leadership, inclusive growth, and community-driven development. His experience as a lecturer and mentor has also allowed him to inspire the next generation of business leaders.

He holds BSc in Accountancy & Member of Association of Accounting Technicians.
